London has been a centre of adventure for centuries. The absence of mountains has only served to drive its citizens' need for exploration, traveling untold distances for adventures only to rush back to their desks for Monday morning. The lack of local mountains doesn't quench the thirst for inspiration. This festival is a new opportunity in London's rich adventurous history, where the stories will come to us, in order that we may go and make our own.
Each session of four hours will consist of two hours in our Attractions zone with talks by some amazing adventurers, a virtual Everest experience, book signings by acclaimed authors, exhibitors from our partners and other organisations across the industry, wilderness films as well as our Tibetan Kitchen, Map Room Bar and Coffee Shop. This will be followed by two hours in the main theatre where you'll be shown a selection of films chosen by that session's host, as well as an interview with the main speaker for that session. Saturday's theme is Adventure, Sunday's theme is Mountains. Add in a few more keywords and we're done.
