Collapsible text is perfect for longer content like paragraphs and descriptions. It's a great way to give people more information while keeping your layout clean. Link your text to anything, including an external website or a different page. You can set your text box to expand and collapse when people click, so they can read more or less info.

More Information

Our selection of films was carefully pre-screened and chosen to celebrate spectacular cinematography, adventure, amazing locations, a diverse mix of people, and their experiences in a wide range of outdoor sports. We intentionally include films that feature groups who have been underrepresented in sports and adventure films.    This selection is stunning, dynamic, uplifting and full of fun.  A heartwarming reflection on human nature that we hope has something for everyone. You do not need to be an epic adventurer to enjoy these.  There's a lot of humour in the mix, alongside serious messages about climate change, safety considerations, and risk management.

These short films do not have an age rating; please be warned there is some incidental mild swearing throughout, some illegal alley-cat bike racing in Concrete Summer and some brief shots of cannabis smoking in the JamRock. Please use your discretion if bringing children. There is no violence, nudity, horror, etc.  If you want more information about suitability, please contact the programmer using the details below.

Closed captioning may be available; it would be really helpful if you could let us know if you require this.

We will be serving refreshments; you are encouraged to bring your own mug.

Please bring your own camp chair if you centre is in the process of developing new activities and refurbishment. We have a brand new film projector - this is our first film night to help raise funds for more cinema events and new chairs!

📷

Doors open at 6:30 with films starting around 7:15pm. We will announce our final selection and listings nearer to the event.

Please consider whether you could walk, use public transport or cycle. If you need to drive, please use local car parks, there is not much free parking on Water Street (Wood Street, Bulkeley or Maes Parcio Llys Menai Car Parks are closest)

Running time - a little over 2 hours, with a short interval. Organic Fairtrade tea, coffee and snacks will be on sale, and you are welcome to bring your own (no alcohol in the Canolfan, please; we have some great local pubs, and we'd recommend supporting them instead!).  And don't forget your chair!

For more information, please contact Bronwen at brb22tck@bangor.ac.uk or 07793533492.

We look forward to welcoming you.  Please let us know if you have any access requests - the hall has three steps but we can make alternative access arrangements through a side door.
