London Mountain Film Festival @ Broughton
London Mountain Film Festival @ Broughton is at 7 pm on Friday 28th February 2025 at the Victory Hall in Broughton-in-Furness. Last year was a sell out and raised £1,200 for our local mountain rescue team. We hope to have another successful evening screening a brilliant selection of mountain and outdoor films courtesy of LMFF!

More Information
A not-to-be-missed opportunity to experience extraordinary adventures and activities on the big screen. Immerse yourself in breathtaking stories of courage, determination, and awe-inspiring journeys that will inspire and motivate your own adventures in the great outdoors!
Nine adventure and outdoor sport films selected from the London Mountain Film Festival will be screened. These range in length from a few minutes to half an hour and feature a variety of activities such as rock climbing, mountaineering, ultra running, trail biking, cold water swimming and kayaking. We have two Cumbria-based films in our programme - "George" featuring a Keswick fell-runner and his dog and a short one about a farrier's annual pilgrimage to Appleby Horse Fair. The films do not have an age classification rating but are generally suitable for 12 years+. Click on the film photos above to see a summary of each film.
Hosted by Broughton-in-Furness Film Club, doors of the Victory Hall will open at 6.15 pm. Programme to start at 7 pm and to finish approximately 9.45 pm, with an intermission included. Cash bar selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Raffle tickets on sale too with some great outdoor themed prizes. Winning numbers to be drawn during the event.
We are anticipating this event will be popular, so get your tickets now at the online price of £10.00. (Tickets on the door will be £12 cash, but are limited in number so subject to availability). Buy tickets at https://tikt.link/MountainFilms2025
