More Information
We start with a screening of our film of Morningside Primary School in Hackney, where the women of that school now make sure their children get outdoors every day in all weathers.
We will culminate with a screening of the very special More than a Mountain, following Team Junko UK, 15 women who scaled 5550-metre Yala Peak in Nepal, celebrating 50 years since the first woman, Junko Tabei, climbed Everest! Even better, we have one of the climbers, London-based Rosemary Brown, who will share her experience!
On this evening, we are celebrating
- 12 years as a woman-owned outdoors business in Hackney!
- 12 years of helping thousands of women, men and especially children to get outdoors!
- Our new shop and community space, from which we hope to inspire and support many thousands more outdoors!
- Becoming the Paramo shop for London!! We will showcase our women's Paramo waterproofs - and plenty of men's available too!
- How women get outdoors, help others get outdoors, and of course, connecting with all our friends, families and communities of all genders to get outdoors more too!
